Complete waterproofing solutions

Whether you have musty smells, efflorescence on the walls, water seeping through cracks, or standing water in the crawl space, we have a system that fixes it. Our crews assess interior and exterior drainage, grading, and structural conditions before recommending the right combination of sealing, drainage, and vapor control.

Interior & exterior waterproofing

Interior systems include sub-floor French drains, sump pumps, and wall membranes that capture water before it damages finished space. Exterior waterproofing involves excavation, foundation membrane application, and proper drainage so water never reaches the wall in the first place. We'll recommend the right approach for your home and budget.

Polyurethane & grout injection

For active leaks through cracks and joints, polyurethane foam injection expands to seal the crack permanently — even while water is flowing. Grout injection fills voids in soil and behind walls to stabilize and waterproof in one step.

FAQs

Waterproofing — questions homeowners ask

Should I waterproof from the inside or the outside of the foundation?

Both work, and the right choice depends on your house. Exterior waterproofing is the gold standard for new construction or when landscaping can be disturbed — we excavate, apply membrane and drainage board to the foundation wall, and install a perimeter footing drain. Interior systems are better for finished homes: a sub-floor French drain, sealed vapor barrier on the walls, and a properly sized sump usually solves the problem without disturbing landscaping or hardscape.

Do you install sump pumps and battery backups?

Yes. We size the sump pit and pump for your home's actual square footage and water table, and we strongly recommend a battery-backup unit — most basement floods happen during the same storms that knock out power. We also install sealed lids to keep humidity out of the basement air.

How long does waterproofing last?

Interior drainage systems and sump pumps installed correctly last 20+ years; pumps themselves typically need replacement at the 10-year mark. Polyurethane crack sealing is generally permanent — the foam stays flexible and bonds to the concrete. Exterior membrane systems carry a 25-year manufacturer's warranty.

Will waterproofing my crawl space help my energy bills?

Yes — usually noticeably. An encapsulated crawl space with a vapor barrier and dehumidifier stops the moisture cycle that wastes HVAC energy and damages floor framing. Most homeowners see 10–15% lower heating and cooling costs in the first year, plus better indoor air quality.
