Interior systems are better for finished homes: a sub-floor French drain, sealed vapor barrier on the walls, and a properly sized sump usually solves the problem without disturbing landscaping or hardscape.

Yes. We size the sump pit and pump for your home's actual square footage and water table, and we strongly recommend a battery-backup unit — most basement floods happen during the same storms that knock out power. We also install sealed lids to keep humidity out of the basement air.
